Alkhyseam Watson- Founder/CEO was born in Oceanside, CA but relocated with his family to Winston-Salem, NC. Alkhyseam now resides in Atlanta after graduating from Morehouse College with a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Before attending college, he received a cosmetology degree from Dudley Beauty College in Greensboro, NC. This began his career in the arena of beauty and fashion. Currently he is the former owner of Headlines Hair Studio, Inc., a multicultural styling salon located in Little 5 Points Atlanta. Alkhyseam began his career as a master cosmetologist which in turn introduced him into a career in modeling and fashion show production from 1997 to present. Through the years he had the privilege to participate, train models and produce fashion shows for several entities such as the Atlanta University Center Homecoming Fashion Productions (1997- 2001), Devine Wear Atlanta (2000) and Bronner Brother International Beauty Show Fashion Shows (2000-2003).
January 14, 2004, Alkhyseam branched off and began his own entertainment company known as Headline Entertainment, LLC. Within this company, “The Art of Excellence Foundation” (non-profit organization) was created. This foundation’s purpose is to provide a scholarship fund for individuals interested in the areas of fashion, hair/skincare and the performing arts. Since conception, Headline Entertainment, LLC. has had the privilege of producing a list of fashion productions around metro Atlanta. These productions include Fashion Weekend Atlanta, V-103’s Toss Swaid Anniversary Weekend Fashion Show, Atlanta Black Hair Expo, The Coalition of 100 Black Women of Atlanta (Gourmet Gents Fashion Production), Atlanta Apparel Exhibition and the Morehouse/Spelman 2005 Homecoming Fashion Show, Xtreme Catwalk Fashion Show, 2009 & 2010 Annual Trumpet Awards High Heel Fashion Show. Alkhyseam and Headline Entertainment, LLC are continuing to spread their talents to promote and share with the world the dynamics of fashion, hair/skincare and the performing arts.
